Drug arrest

Dear All,

On the morning of Sunday 23rd November officers from the Tactical Support Group (TSG) were on routine patrol on Ashley Place when they noticed a male well known for his association with the supply of illegal drugs in the area. After a brief chase they detained him and arrested him for possession of drugs and acquisitive crimes. This arrest shows our continuing commitment to disrupting drug dealing on our ward. It is evidence of effective intelligence gathering and sharing, a process in which local residents continue to play a crucial part. Thank you.
